The first step is asking Why? As someone who is easily inspired and somewhat impatient I rush into things rather than taking a methodical approach. I am not looking for a quick fix so I need to do some work up front to make sure these changes are authentic and will last.
I want my home to feel like a haven. I want to walk in and feel calm and at peace rather than seeing a to do list. The less clutter that I have will allow me more time doing what I value-being present with myself and my family.
Decluttering is going to start with my home but I suspect it will transfer to other areas in my life. What is your Why? for creating a calm and less cluttered space? Write it down or share it here, I would love to hear!
